Royal City Centre is proud to host the 2012 "Festival of Volunteers" marking its exciting 10th Anniversary celebration on January 28.

New Westminster has one of the highest numbers of charitable organizations per capita in B.C.  Community Volunteer Connections proudly showcases this incredible network by organizing this Festival each year.  The celebration is clearly to highlight the spirit of volunteerism and helps new volunteers find places to contribute to their community.

The "Musical Acts of Kindness" is a small band made up of students from New Westminster Secondary School.  This wonderful ensemble performs especially to raise money for the Elizabeth Gurney House, a single mother homeless shelter in New Westminster.  Mark your calendar and plan on shopping at Royal City Centre on Thursday afternoon, December 22.  Your donation will be gratefully accepted by these talented young musicians.
